PRESIDENT/CEO
Dan Castagna, JR EMT-B 484.478.2642
DAN@ECHSAFETY.COM At the age of 15, I began my career as a volunteer Jr firefighter, soon after I started taking courses at Delaware State Fire Academy in Dover, Delaware. At the age of 19 I took my first lifeguarding instructor course, which inspired me to take the necessary steps in order to begin my aquatic career.
I joined Boothwyn Fire Company in 2001. A few years later I took on the responsibility of Lieutenant followed by Engine Captain. I attended Crozer Chester Medical Center where I obtained my CPR Instructor Certification for the American Heart Association. In early 2011 I decided to take the state Emergency Medical Responder course where I found my passion with EMS. A little over a year later I started Emergency Medical Technician training, and earned my certification in 2012. Shortly after I decided to start Emergency Care Health & Safety to share my passion with CPR and Lifeguard training with the community. In early 2013, I received my American Red Cross Instructor Trainer Certification and am actively teaching courses. |
