Lifeguarding Instructor Courses
This American Red Cross (ARC) course trains instructor candidates to teach ARC Lifeguarding (including First Aid), CPR for the Professional Rescuer, Basic Water Rescue, and other specified ARC classes. This course prepares participants by developing their understanding of how to use the course materials and methods, how to conduct training sessions and how to evaluate participants' progress. Participants must be at least 17 years of age by the last scheduled session of the instructor course. Student's must possess a current Lifeguard/CPR/AED/First Aid certification from the American Red Cross or equivalent.
