Fawn Lake WF/LG Review
This Red Cross course incorporates both the Lifeguard Training course with the Waterfront skills module review. The purpose of the Waterfront skills module is to teach lifeguards the skills and knowledge needed to prevent and respond to emergencies in nonsurf, open-water areas found at public parks, resorts, summer camps and campgrounds. This course incorporates a blended learning format with online training sessions, classroom skills and water rescue activities.
Waterfront Lifeguard Prerequisites
• Be at least 15 years old
• Complete the required online course before the first class
• Pass the following swim test on the first day of class
Certifications Issued
American Red Cross certifications in Lifeguarding with Watefront skills, First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer – all valid for 2 years.
